Who are Central Oregon Boy Scouts?

The Fremont District serves Crook, Jefferson and Deschutes counties in central Oregon.
The largest civic, leadership training, conservation and community service youth group in the region, the Fremont District of the Crater Lake Council, Boy Scouts of America, serves around 1,300 boys and young men/women ranging in ages from six to twenty-one. These boys and young men are represented by Tiger Cubs, Cub Scouts, Webelos, Boy Scouts, Venture, Explorers and Varsity.

The Fremont District Boy Scouts boasts over 600 volunteer leaders that mentor the youth that we serve.  The youth and adults provide over 380,000 hours annually of community service, leadership training, emergency medical response training, environmental restoration, and disaster preparedness and assistance to citizens of the three-county region.
