Who are Central Oregon Boy Scouts?
The largest civic leadership training, conservation and community service youth group in the region, the Fremont District of the Crater Lake Council, Boy Scouts of America, serves around 1,300 boys and young men/women ranging in ages from six to twenty-one. These boys and young men are represented by Tiger Cubs, Cub Scouts, Webelos, Boy Scouts, Venture, Explorers and Varsity.

The Fremont District Boy Scouts and almost 600 volunteer leaders provide over 380,000 hours annually of community service, leadership training, emergency medical response training, environmental restoration, and disaster preparedness and assistance to citizens of the three-county region. The Fremont District serves Crook, Jefferson and Deschutes counties.

Fall Roundup Training: August 18  6:00pm at LDS Church on Knott Rd and 15th.  (Before Roundtable.)

Popcorn Training - August 26   Elks Lodge 6:30pm  at  63120 Boyd Acres Rd, Bend

Scout Store in Bend opening up in September

Webelos Woods - October 14-15  program on Saturday 15   For Webelos to check out the Boy Scout program.

Scouting for Food - November 12  Pick food up    Benefitting the Salvation Army- Bend, FISH-Redmond, other community churches and food banks.

Rechartering - Packet pickup in October.    Recharter turn in deadline December 16.  Early Bird recharter turn in December 9.

District Roundtable - Scout Leaders, Den Leaders, and other volunteers meet at 7:00 pm at the LDS Church on the corner of Knott Rd and 15th .

    • Application completely filled out, including unit number, all signatures, position description and questions #1-6 on the right side of the page.
    • Proof that Youth Protection Training has been completed.
