Mighty Klamath Update

• The Mighty Klamath Roundtable in Alturas will be on April 25th at 5pm at the Scout Hut in Alturas. 

• The Mighty Klamath Friends of Scouting Campaign is going strong. The Klamath District Friends of Scouting Campaign has a $41,000 dollar goal. The Klamath District has raised $22,341 out of $41,000 or 55% of Goal. Thank you everyone who has pledged so far. We are entering the last straights of the campaign. Please continue to contribute so that we can make sure that we reach our goal so that we can continue to bring our youth the best program that our youth deserve.

• Are you, or your son or daughter, looking for an amazing Summer Experience? Applications are being excepted to work at either of our beautiful summer camps. You can drop off your applications in any of our three Service Centers: Bend, Oregon; Klamath Falls, Oregon; Eureka, California; or Central Point, Oregon.

***New Youth Protection Policy*** 
As of June 1, 2010, the Boy Scouts of America's National Youth Protection Policy states that every Adult Volunteer must go through Youth Protection training every two years. All new adult Volunteers must go through Youth Protection Training before they become a become a Volunteer. Remember that the Boy Scouts of America and the Mighty Klamath District Feel that our greatest resource are our Youth. For more information, check out www.scouting.org.
