COUNSELOR IN TRAINING PROGRAM (CIT)
CIT’s will work in a variety of program areas. Each Sunday they are assigned to a program area where they will be working that week (program areas listed above). CIT are not responsible for teaching merit badges, they serve as assistants and helpers to the merit badge counselor. They are members of our staff and receive all of the T-shirts and other SWAG that all staff members get. They also help with our camp-wide events, games and campfires.
CIT’s can earn merit badges while they volunteer at camp! If a CIT wishes, they can inform us of merit badges that they would like to earn while at camp, we then have them assist with the instruction of the merit badge during the week, so that they can earn the merit badge.
