Stifel Central Oregon
Friends of Scouting Luncheon
April 23
Please join us on April 23rd, 2024 at the Bend Armory to celebrate the youth involved in Scouting in Central Oregon and to invest in the Crater Lake Council as we bring more families into our character education program.
The Crater Lake Council is pleased to announce our Keynote Speaker for this year’s Luncheon is National Boy Scouts of America Chairman of the Board Brad Tilden.
As the 39th National Chair of the BSA, Brad Tilden currently serves as a member of the organization’s Key 3. Brad Tilden’s involvement with the BSA spans over 50 years and started in his youth, where he earned his Eagle Scout rank as a member of Troop 392 in the Chief Seattle Council in 1976. Throughout his adult years he continues to contribute to the organization’s growth and success. He served on the board and later as chair of the Chief Seattle Council, overseeing operations and expanding the organization’s reach in underserved communities. Tilden’s leadership also fostered stronger partnerships with local businesses and community organizations, further strengthening the BSA’s impact.
Our special events provide opportunities for local businesses to connect socially with other professionals while supporting the local youth in their communities. The funds raised from fundraising events go to support the Crater Lake Council operating budget, while we grow our impact and help Scouts on their journey to become Eagle Scouts and the future leaders of our communities.
