Art contest announcement!
This year we want to see our Cub Scout campers get CREATIVE with helping us design our camp shirts for the 2023 season. We’re looking to find a design that captures this year’s resident camp theme: Journey to the Moon!
Skill will not be a factor in determining the winner: we are only looking for creativity and how closely participants follow the theme. Cub Scouts are also encouraged to submit ideas if they are not confident in their artwork.
Requirements:
1. Cub Scouts MUST be participating in any session of resident camp offered in 2023 at Camp McLoughlin.
2. Participants must include their name, Cub Scout Pack unit number, and rank along with their submission.
3. Include the theme in your submission, but overall HAVE FUN!
To Enter:
Send an email titled “Camp Shirt Design” with an image file attached to Camp Director Heather Volkman at heather.volkman@scouting.org. Please include your Cub Scout’s name, Pack unit number, and rank along with their submission in the body of the email.
Deadline to qualify for the art contest is March 31st, 2023.
The winner will be announced May 1st, 2023!
