Cub Scouts Pitch In to Help Community Affected by Wild Fires

Giving Back and Expressing Gratitude

Cub Scout Pack 3017 used their first pack meeting to focus on servicing the community. They compiled 100 school supply kits for students in the Phoenix-Talent School District. These kits were delivered and distributed through the Southern Oregon Fire Relief Fund. They also partnered with the Southern Oregon Humane Society and collected donations and supplies for the pets displaced from the Almeda fire. And of course, the cub scouts wanted to express their deep gratitude for the first responders and firefighters who have worked tirelessly to keep us all safe. They each made Thank You Cards with messages of appreciation and support.
