Finalize Your Yearly Plan
Can you believe it? Summer will be winding down before you know it and the hustle and bustle of the new school year will start.
Before we all get too deep into the new learning year, don’t forget to “Be Prepared” for a year full of fun and adventure for your Pack or Troop. Now is the perfect time to revisit what your unit will be doing for the 2023-24 school year. This should include a parent meeting to cover three very important topics for any successful Scouting unit:
- Annual calendar of events are scheduled
- Volunteer positions are filled and vacancies are identified with potential prospects
- The yearly budget is reviewed
