The summer season is a great time to continue Scouting fun while planning the next year’s program.
Cub Scout Packs are encouraged to work towards the Summertime Pack Award and Scouts BSA Troops are encouraged to earn the National Outdoor Challenge Award. There are events and activities that you can find on the council’s online calendar that can help units work towards them.
It’s best to plan your next year program during the summertime. We are challenging all units to complete this process by August 15th. A quality unit plan includes a budget, calendar, and recruitment plan for both youth and adults.
Staff and commissioners will contact units to see how we can help you in this process.
